5 Bad Beauty Habit to stop today!

1. Sleeping with your make up on.

Your skin needs a break from your makeup every night. Not only does a nightly routine cleanse the skin of make up but also other daily build up of skin cells, dirt & oil.
Give your skin a break & let it breath easy!

2. Not getting regular haircuts.

The tales of consistent trims are true. The facts behind it are slightly skewed however. Will your hair grow faster if you cut it more? No. Will you have less breakage if you trim your split ends, thus resulting in longer hair? Yes. You can keep your ends supple and moisturized between cuts with an Argan or Moroccan oil but try to see your stylist every 8-12 weeks for a trim. And ask them for a dusting to help get those split ends taken care of.

3. Over plucking your Brows.

Brows are tricky, the trends for brows come and go: Thin and structured to over grown, emphasis on the arch to emphasis on length. The bad news about brows is it only takes a little over plucking to ruin your shape for good. Brows seem to come back every few weeks no matter how badly you try to keep up with them, but some of those hairs will never come back, so be careful over plucking. The older we get, like everything else, brows thin out. Better to keep them thick and have more to hang onto for the older years!

4. Not wearing SPF daily.

The number 1 factor in aging is sun damage. So a daily SPF should be your number 1 priority every day. Just because you wont be in the sun is no excuse for not wearing sun protection. Florescent lights give off UV rays as well, so while you're sitting in your cubicle you're soaking up the rays. Protect that skin. It'll thank you in a few years.

5. Ignoring your Manicure.

Just like your skin, your hair, and your brows your nails need love and attention. Keep your cuticles healthy and trimmed for great looking nails. Keep hang nails under control & keep that mani looking fresh with consistent painting. Nail Polish can protect your nails and help them grow healthily.
